Strong string for pom-poms

2.50

Have you ever wondered how to get really good pom-poms? The trick is to make sure the middle knot is strong and tight. A lot of people (and I used to do the same) use the same yarn to tie the middle as the pom-pom, but yarn stretches over time and can snap if pulled too tight.

Crochet cotton works beautifully to get a nice tight knot around your pom-pom bundles. If you’re making a big pom-pom, I recommend doubling it up for extra strength.

This spool will last you absolute ages as you only need about 35cm for each pom-pom… so that’s about 800 pom-poms worth!!
